Documents to gather

The exact list depends on the legal form and the shareholders' situation. We confirm it in our first conversation.

Shareholders living in Morocco

  • Copy of the national ID card of each shareholder and the manager
  • Three proposed company names, in order of preference
  • A description of the business activity
  • The registered office address: lease, title deed or domiciliation agreement
  • The amount of share capital and how it is split between shareholders

Shareholders or parent company abroad

  • Passport or residence permit of individual shareholders
  • For a corporate shareholder: articles, proof of registration and decision to invest
  • A power of attorney for the representative signing in Morocco
  • Documents legalised or apostilled, then translated
  • Bank evidence of foreign-currency funding, which secures the right to repatriate funds
Frequently asked questions

Your questions about online formation

Can I set up my company without travelling?

Yes, in most cases. Discussions, approval of the articles and preparation of the file are done remotely. Some signatures can be given by power of attorney; we tell you which steps require you or a representative to be present.

How much share capital is needed?

There is no longer a minimum share capital for an SARL. The amount should still be consistent with your business and financing needs: we help you set it.

How long does it take?

It mainly depends on how complete the file is and on the authorities' processing times. A complete file for an SARL with resident shareholders takes from a few days to a few weeks; files with foreign documents take longer.

How much does it cost?

We prepare a detailed quote after our first conversation, based on the legal form, the services chosen and the shareholders' situation. Official fees are shown in it.

Can a foreigner own 100% of the company?

Yes, in most sectors. Well-documented foreign-currency funding then allows dividends and the proceeds of any sale to be transferred abroad.

What happens after registration?

Your company has obligations from day one: bookkeeping, tax returns, and social security filings if you hire. We can take care of them so you can focus on your business.
